DQM Dark Prince was a lot of fun, I just hate the pretty much non-existent post-game and lack of things to do once you're done, compared to other Monsters game.

Your discussion in this episode makes me want to ask: Do you like the original chiptune/PCM soundtracks of DQ games on the NES, SNES and GameBoy more than the re-releases' soundtracks, or vice versa? Also, would DQIX be more popular had it got a proper single-player story? Would a IX remake make it possible? And has anyone here tried DQ I and II on the MSX?

The final boss is so trite and boring. He's just "grr, I'm evil because reasons." It would have been a way better story with better pathos if Marcello had been the ultimate antagonist and you had sympathized with his plight to turn him back onto the path of a new, kinder society rather than his vision of a new oligarchy just with him at the top.

I am a fan of the X generation of your Dragon Quest series and I love it very much and also Itadaki Street with the Mario version ❤️ I would be interested, as would many thousands of other fans from Europe and around the world, to know whether there will "hopefully" be a new version of Itadaki Street for the Switch. Many people, thousands in Europe and around the world, my whole family, myself included, want and are so excited about this game for the Switch. It would be super, wonderfully brilliant if a new version came out. I hope for it with every new Nintendo release but so far in vain. The new remake is also great apart from that, but I still hope so much that Itadaki Street gets a chance! Hopefully and kind regards, a loyal X generation player

Much agreed with platty, RPGFan's video was a clear take from a fan. There were like 3 others I can't think of, that were fans and familiar with the series. Most of the fans who went, however, wrote articles.

This influencers who went into SQEX London HQ most of them are not really fans they’re just there for exclusive benefits and perks and most of them grew up with FF and KH and they don’t know about DQ pretty much nor would they care since DQ is trending and will keep on trending for the future, they’re just there to larpe on to the series for clicks and they don’t care if they love/know about DQ more after they try it out.

Renting stories are always so much fun to talk with friends about. As a teenager who lived on a farm outside of town, I'd bike in to my favorite place, Take2Video, on a Saturday and grab a gamecube game to play. It was a 22 mile trip total and looking back, it's pretty crazy my parents were ok with my friend and I doing that.

Alena is a good martial artist like Alex from Totally Spies, because they have the same accent of their voices.

I really love this one, but i´m a little confused.. From 7:12:00 everything is kind of messed up for me. First you go to the Dragovians, then you are suddenly at Medea´s wedding and then again at the Dragovians and just after that you continuing with Rhapthornes castle. yeah I know it´s supposed to be a movie, but the wedding in between is still very irritating. And i´m sad that you skipped some Bosses that you have to defeat. But apart from that, it´s really nice to be able to look at this work of art without having to spend 100 hours in it for myself again. So Thank You for this great masterpiece!!

Question, do other random enemies have any exclusive ultimate attacks too?

People recognize Toriyama's work when they see the characters with the eyes attached to the eyebrow, pointy nose and chin, and huge forehead, as amazing as his character designs were, what really stood out to me was how he designed his vehicles. Vehicles tend to have sharp pointy edges and silhouettes, but Toriyama's stylized approach to giving it a rounder look just looks mezmerizing and inspired me to be more open to drawing vehicles. His art style was the very thing that inspired me to pursue a career in art and now I work as a Game Artist. I sincerely thank him for being such an inspiration. RIP to the GOAT.

I was looking for newer boom street games than the 2011 one with the mario characters and apparently this is the only one, but featuring some same old maps... just add a level editor and there would be endless fun

Oh jeez those visuals, that soundtrack… so many great memories. Need a port/remaster on current gen. Favorite jrpg of all time, as close to perfect as they get. You don’t get that fairy tale vibe and emotional power from any ol game.
